At ACADD, we find solutions for feral cats and dogs by offering funding for spay and neuter surgeries, emergency veterinary care, and food to local rescues. Our funding is raised through the generous donations of our community. Through our online thrift store, we accept reusable household items, helping local rescues to do what they do best; shelter and find homes for our best friends.
In addition to funding for vet care and surgeries, we support our local rescues by offering donated supplies such as furniture, building materials, cleaning agents, towels and blankets, and cash for kenneling projects.
We understand how much work is involved in rescuing cats and dogs. We try to make rescue business easier by assisting local kennels with the things they need, helping to reduce overhead costs so that more rescue work can be done.
Safe Location
While ACADD does not kennel animals, we assist the community by helping to find local rescues for stray animals that turn up on residential or commercial properties. We network with rescues in Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Citrus and Polk counties to help individuals find safe places to take their rescues. We only work with “no kill” shelters and we do not support the euthanasia of healthy cats and dogs.

Best Friends
Cats and dogs are humanity’s best friends. Often born outdoors, without human intervention, their lives can be miserable. They suffer traffic peril, extreme heat and cold, parasites, fleas, starvation and dehydration along with a host of other pains, diseases, and discomforts. In the spirit of our own pets, we dedicate our works in rescue support, as a way to give back the love and comfort our pets have so freely given to us.

How We Do It?
ACADD is utilizing opportunities available through social media to spread the word, create awareness for feral animals, and raise funding for our relief projects. Your donated items are sold on social media sites such as Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp and EBay, all of which offer free advertising, helping us to save more money for the animals we LOVE. We love what we do, and we couldn’t do it without you!
We graciously accept donations of anything reusable to include: furniture, appliances, housewares, decor, clothing, garden and patio furniture, cars, trucks, boats and other motorized vehicles such as jet skis and 4 wheelers. Basically, if it is reusable, we accept it. ACADD encourages the recycling of reusable items, helping to keep our planet greener, saving cats and dogs, and helping people to find great deals on the things they need. And we offer pick-up service to your home! Just call us to schedule your pick-up. Our professional team will coordinate your pick-up and provide you with a tax-deductible receipt that can be filed with your tax records.
